Greetings of peace!

This coming school year is a challenge for everyone. With the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic, the future we have always tried to prepare for in our minds and hearts now seems like a blur as our world has turned almost upside down.

At Makati High School, our perseverance and commitment to assist and cater to our students and their concerns, to reach out to all our stakeholders, and to equip our teachers and school personnel appropriately have fueled our minds and hearts to strive forth in creating a learning community that puts welfare above all amidst a pandemic. The faculty has continuously trained, with masters in their respective fields as trainers, on how to make the learning experiences of their students worthwhile even on an online platform. We have also trained our facilities personnel with proper skills they need to keep the campus safe from the virus. We have also been consistently coordinating with our local government units, both city and barangay, to address some concerns our students have with regard to their education and welfare.

This pandemic has definitely given us a more difficult time in the educational sector. We had to realign our priorities and perspective on things that really matter especially for our dear students. However, now we are prepared to face the new normal whilst still delivering the same quality of education we have always delivered to the youth to fully equip them with skills for their future.

We at MHS serve with one heart and one goal, para sa bata, para sa bayan, at para sa Diyos. Indeed, we can as one, as one we can.
